- Oh! Eso es terrible! El país entero lo esta perdiendo!

They are loosing him.
Several days ago I received a call from the School District asking me about my son. They required some information because my son was included to attend to Middle School for the next school year. This is part of our conversation:
-Oh! Yes, I know about that! But, I’m sorry because my son is going to attend a private school -
-OK, I understand. Can I ask the type of school where he is applying? –
-Of course! It is a pretty niceCatholic School. The Campus is here, in the Valley –
-Really! I know it! They have a very good academic program. Probably is not good for me to say it but, you are making a very good decision -
-Yes I think so! I am very sorry because you are loosing one of the future Presidents of this country –
I said that as a proud father because my son. However, the woman at the other side of the phone line was not comfortable with the asseveration and after a pause, se said:
- I am not pretty sure but, your son is a IMMIGRANT and he NEVER will be qualified to aspire to a political career. Also I can presume, neither you are. Isn’t it? -
She said. I notice a heavy charge of sarcasm at the end of the last sentence. Then I replied:
-Oh! That’s so terrible! The whole country is loosing him!
